Default Any bike people out there ??

I am in the process of purchasing a new road bike. Just wanted to know of anyone has fit any type of rear mounted rack to an S2000 ??

Or if anyone has tried to put a bike in the trunk or front seat ?

I know that some people will think putting a bike on any part of an S is crazy , but the hardcore cyclist will know where I am coming from ..

Thanks

P.S. I am getting a Cannondale , with 105/ultegra mix.. Any thoughts on this ??

The only way I can see is to put on a trailer hitch and use the appropriate bike rack that would hook up to the hitch with the ball removed. That will carry a bike or two, and keeps everything away from the car to avoid scratches and dings.

the trunk mounted versions maybe ok.... i am sure they will leave little scratches if there is dirt on the paint, but............

I have a decent Mt. Bike and have been debating about a mediocre roadbike...but I would never ride it anyway.

no comment on the hitch but if you want to get a good road bike for good price (upto 40% off MSRP), check these sites occasionally (if you can wait).

supergo.com
hi-techbikes.com

also, I have a cannondale and have a small frame. ride is very harsh. if you can afford a ti bike, go for it! I ride a litespeed and it's worlds better than the 'dale.
