lol funny you ask cause i was just watching kat williams stand up, he was saying hes honest to his kids so from the start he tells his son there no santa.

Kids usually figure it out by about age 7-9. someone on the bus or at school will let them know the truth.

I told my kids at age 2 so I would get credit for the presents instead of Santa

Didn't you see that movie with Tim Allen? It explains all the xmas phenomenons. A chimney magically appears when no chimney is present.
