Mike's hard lemonade on a warm day works!@

 

I got a bottle of Talisker 10-year that's quite good, but you gotta like peaty Scotch.

I finally got a bottle of 21-year-old Old Pulteney that's pretty good, but not so peaty. I prefer Ardbeg, Lagavulin, Laphroaig (all Islay), and Talisker (Isle of Skye).

Whilst in Charlotte I got a couple of bottles of Aberlour A'Bunadh cask-strength: 120 proof sippin' whisky. That's good stuff!

 

Drank Shipyard Monkey Fist IPA, Widmer Pale Ale, Acme California IPA, and some hemp beer forget the name.

 

While yes, this is a beverage thread, serious beer drinkers may want to go here.

 

Pappy 20 yr came in tonight, so I picked that up (at a $30 premium) from ABC, and also got a bottle of Larceny. For the money, this is a great bourbon. Strong initial oak note which a medium caramel finish. Since I spend a woping $24 on the bottle with a $10 rebate, this, for the money, is probably been the best bourbon yet. /> That said, it is sweet though, if I had to say something bad about it.







Now I just have to find the 23yr for the right price

 

Had the Pappy 15 at a restaurant this last weekend. Excellent, spicy, and great with the pork belly I was eating.

 

FINALLY found a bottle of 23 year! Saving this shit for my wedding day or something! 20 year review coming in 2013

 

Bring all of them to RTD 2013 so we can all try them!
