Got it at Sams Club!

That better?

RedCelica and everyone who is contributing, I just saw this thread but you have done an excellent job going through some of the best, I do have a few suggestions for you that I think you would really enjoy givin your flavor profile. The four roses single barrel is excellent if you haven’t had it (saw you tired their other one and it didn’t impress you that much) , my personal favorite is Stranahans. They stopped distributing to California but they are supposed to start up again within the next year or so when they get production up past 11 barrels a day (vs the 1000 Jim or jack do) if you can get your hands on this I would recommend this. Recently got really into the peat and have been stuck on those but heres a shot of what im sipping on right now. Also ive been in the liquor business for 3 years so ive tried a lot and love to see people seeking out their own personal favorite. If you have any questions before dropping some cash on a product feel free to ask.

Heres what im sipping on at any given time

Some nice Scotch but a bit young for me. I prefer Glenfiddich 30 but also have a botte of 25 year old I share with friends.

While I haven't acquired a taste for scotch [yet] that Colorado looks yummy

I am officially out of bourbons to try at our ABCs, I'll be heading back to GA for the holidays and will def. pick up some new stuff on my trip down there.

I found Colorado having too much corn, and not enough rye for my liking. I also remember the rep quoting me a ridiculously high price given the quality. YMMV.

Just got an email back from NCABC about acquiring a bottle or case of Pappy Van Winkle 15 year...

Got a response

Danielle Griffin to me
show details 10:50 AM (5 hours ago)
Brett-

This is a special order item which means you would need to buy it by the case. The 15 year comes 12 per case and is about $48 per bottle. If you are interested we could put your name on the waiting list. There is a waiting list because we do not know how much will be allocated to our state yet.

Let me know if you are interested.

Danielle
Now I just have to make a thread in Carolinas to see if I can get some buyers....if that's even legal as long as I'm not making a profit.

Or I could just pick some up in Augusta when I go down for the holidays
