FS: 2004 Suzuka Blue, Supercharged, NJ
I am considering moving on to a different performance car platform. I love S2000s, and this is the second one I have owned, but I'm looking to switch it up. I do not need to sell the car, and still am not 100% sure I want to sell it (unless I get a nice offer). I am in no rush, so I will not even entertain low offers. I was originally planning to keep it til next spring then sell it, but would sell it sooner if I got close to asking price.
I unfortunately never had a chance to track the car
Still owe some money on this, so it'd have to go through the bank to get the title.
2004 Suzuka Blue
Clean title/carfax, no accidents, no theft/no salvage, etc
VIN JHMAP21454T000091
90,xxx miles (only driven on weekends, so mileage will increase slightly)
Asking price: $15,400 with all mods firm, negotiable without mods
Located in 07013, NJ
NO check engine lights, ever
Valid inspection, and would pass again with no problems.
I purchased the car Memorial day 2009, at ~68k miles, and I believe I am the ~third owner. It was my daily driver until a few months ago. I did drive it during the winter, but very limited, and never in direct snow. It spent most of the winter in my garage. As of a few months ago, it is no longer a daily car, and is only driven in nice weather.
I have had the car for 20k trouble free miles. Love the car, and keep it in tip top shape, the best I can.
Modifications
Interior
Alpine/Pioneer (forget the brand) CD player with iPod integration
iPod plug routed to a secret spot, control the iPod through the head unit's controls
Voodoo shift knob
Polk Audio speakers
Power/Etc
Comptech Supercharger with Aftercooler (purchased used with 9k miles, been on my car since May/~4000 miles)
4.0" SOS pulley =~7psi (also have the stock 5psi pulley/belt)
Aftercooler pump was upgraded to a better Bosch unit
Berk Header (~20k miles)
Competition Stage 4 6 puck clutch kit (~5000 miles)
I have the stock clutch/flywheel which will be swapped back on if I part out the car in spring
AP1 flywheel, resurfaced (~5000 miles)
Autometer boost gauge
Autometer Wideband gauge
Supercharger and clutch were installed professionally by Jeff Devos.
Other
Eibach Springs
Rota Torque wheels in Gold (~8,000 miles, not a single bit of curbage/scratch)
Sumitomo HTR Ziii tires (~8,000 miles) still plenty of life
I also have a set of winter wheels/tires that could be included
OEM AP2 front lip
OEM side strakes
Front strut bar, not sure the brand
Clutch master cylinder was replaced when the clutch was replaced
Wiper motor was replaced recently
Performed a compression test on the engine prior to supercharging it, and all the cylinders are fine, and reported solid numbers. No issues with the engine at all.
Oil changes every 5000 miles. I prefer Mobil 1 full synthetic. Other fluids changed regularly.
The Bad Stuff
-The front bumper was repainted at one point in time (the color is off a little) and definitely needs to be resprayed, as there are tons of rock chips. No cracks or major scratches in the bumper.
-A few scratches/dings here and there (nothing major worth mentioning, but what can be expected on a well maintained 90k mile car).
-1" rip in the soft top near the passenger side latch (I didnt tighten the latch once, put the top down, and ripped the top ) I'm going to patch it soon
-Interior is solid for 90k miles, no rips in the seats/carpet/etc, but it's worn, but looks good for it's age. I clean it/condition the leather often. Will have pictures soon.
Other than those things, the car is overall in very solid condition. The paint is great besides what I mentioned (I detail it regularly and garage it often). The interior looks great. The engine/suspension/drivetrain is perfect.
I love the car, but I'm wanting to move on to something else.
Not sure how much power I'm making, would guess ~320whp.
There are probably other smaller mods here and there that I don't remember. I am asking $15,400 for the car as it sits. I am open to offers, but not much lower. Looking to sell the car as is. If I don't get much interest at this price, I will wait til next spring and part it out.
