Default Best place to buy video games?

Whats up dudes, not sure how many of you guys play video games but I'm interested in purchasing a playstation 3 at the moment. Yeah I'm aware the ps4 is coming out in a few months but I don't want that first batch.

So where do you guys shop for your consoles and games? Best buy? GameStop? I'm looking for the ps3 slim 160gb or 320gb and I guess new is the way to go. Also does anyone have a hook up? Not brotha man from around the corner but rather a discount off a new console.

The games I'm interested in purchasing at the moment is mw3 and black ops 2

I wouldn't mind buying a used game on CL but a console can be iffy. I found a few "like new" consoles on CL but when I ask if they still have the receipt to show proof when it was purchased, they give me the run around.

buying systems off CL can be iffy since you can't really test them out. Ebay seems like a good place. I remember few years ago I bought my PS3 from ebay and it was packaged with like 10 games, few controllers etc, and when I ended up reselling all the games, I ended up with a used ps3 for dirt cheap

^ did you buy it new or used from eBay and which version did you buy? I heard the slim 160 or 320 is the way to go.

Im also worried about the system crapping out after x amount of uses. Playstation gives a 1 year manufacture warranty but if I were to buy it used is it still valid if its within the year?

Yeah screw it I'm gonna buy it new. I'm shopping around for the ps3 slim 160gb or 320gb, already went to and/or called a few GameStops and best buys but no luck. I read they're the better better versions.
