Good thing! You would have been sleeping in that truck.

Still snowing/blowing here. Hard to tell the actual accumulation with so much wind but I bet 2' isn't too far off the mark. It just makes it hard to get to the woodshed though, not a major panic!

Which reminds me, how are things at the North Pole?
Cold, windy but only got about 2" of new snow. Sander just went by, plow up as I think most of the snow has been blown off the roads.

Came home to about 2 to 3 inches of light, fluffy snow. Because it was cold, I took a couple of breaks to finish shoveling. Glad it wasn't the heavy stuff.

News channels are now using the line "Is there more snow to come..."

We had about 3" in the driveway when I got home. It was drifted to 6" in a few places. Not a big deal. Nice that it is staying light later and I could snow-blow in day light.

Life can be so fickle. A little after that last post, I got a call. My cousin (we were brothers) passed away from a sudden stroke. Don't know much about what happened and how it happened, or why it happened to someone as physically fit as him. Just very confused right now. I'll be out for a few days in Dallas. His wife and two young children need me and the rest of the family to be there.
