^ that always makes for a great watch Aric
Today I attended the penultimate autocross event in the region. I did ok. Just one more event to go. Thought I'd stepped it up to the next level at the end of the season last year, but based on the results thus far they may have been hasty in awarding me Most Improved Driver for last season
In any case, its the fun and camaraderie that makes me go back. Hopefully I find those precious seconds.
I did read Andy Hollis' 10 tip before I left this AM. That part about turning early seemed to have helped me today. The course was fantastic and the elements were set up just a little beyond where they usually are forcing one to focus on keeping the eyes up and ahead.

Spent the weekend holding a garage sale to get rid of (mostly) the wife's extra junk clogging up two rooms of the house.
Made a little extra cash, got rid of excess junk, but man do I feel like I need a weekend from my weekend.

Just realized this thread is on its last leg.
Was looking at the calendar and we have run out of planned events. I will spend some time upcoming weekend to plan a drive for end of August or early September. I'd like to do the Tri-State again. We could stop at Hemmings in Bennington or maybe we can do Lake Sacandaga. The only thing I'm wary about for the latter choice is that the roads may be full of motorcycle riders.
Will also try to organize a season end drive. I really want to find some nice new roads.

I just realized that I went over my annual mileage limit for the S2000. All put together I've put 3300 miles on it this season. Figure I will easily add another 1000 or 2000 miles. My insurance agent will probably balk when I call to lower coverage during storage.

I don't have a limit per se, but have been averaging 3000 miles each season. I'm guessing the trip to Billman and the fact that Vintage Racer got us lost on the way home and then took me to New Milford, from where I had a 2 hour drive home, and he had a 2 minute drive home, drove up the miles.
I reckon, I will have added another 1000 to 2000 miles by the end of October.
