You guys are young whippersnappers. According to Lime Rock Park, 65 is the new 35.

You have a few options!

a) Stagnate and vegetate, like some of my friends;

b) Relive your youth - this time you can do better with a few bucks in your pocket;

c) or live the youth you never had. That's my option.

Most of my problems stem from these boards. If I never came here, I wouldn't have gotten the idea to track the car. If I hadn't the idea to track the car, I wouldn't have bought the race car. If I hadn't bought the race car, I wouldn't have still had the idea to track the car. If I hadn't had that idea, I wouldn't have started doing all the mechanical stuff. If I hadn't started doing all that, I would have completed my 46 High Peaks while I still had legs. If I had completed the High Peaks, I would have finished restoring those boats. If I had finished restoring the boats, I would have gone fishing instead of to the track. If I had stayed away from the track, the engine would still be in the car. If the engine was still in the car, I'd have had more time to pay attention to the wife. If I paid more attention to her, I wouldn't be having pizza for diner tonight. It goes on and on.

I hear the guy in the pic has been frowning a lot lately. Something about having Lime Rock use his image to sell memberships to champagne & caviar set, but not even giving him an invite to a test and tune day.

Mercedes Benz C 111 from 1969. I had no idea they had something as cool designed back in the day.
