^ no need to apologize Keith. I know where you are coming from. Just pointing out how that sounded.
Very tragic about the death of the instructor. That is why a lot of racing schools restrict instructors from riding along. It is a dangerous sport for sure and every loss touches the soul. Still I'd rather be on track than on the greens.

It looks like the track was being used in a direction contrary to how it was set up to be used. Here is a link to a blog post from an instructor bemoaning the lack of safety standards at Orlando.

Had my S out for one day and the battery died this morning (2008 Autocraft Platinum AGM ... it was probably time).
Looking for a good replacement I can get locally. Any bright ideas?
I'm not crazy about Optima (bad reputation) and Tire Rack said Braille give up a fair amount of power for lightweight.

Thanks Mark. OEM was an optional. I like the AGM designs for lighter weight (about 8 lbs less) ... but they're roughly double the price.
I'll make up my mind tomorrow. Hate to let the S sit ... it's been a nice week so far.

So of late, I seem to be developing a serious liking for the 4Runner. Something about the way it looks is appealing to me. Maybe I'm growing older seeking a more sedentary ride. Maybe a test drive will put it all to rest. And articles like this about disconnecting from the world and driving into the wilderness don't help at all
Anyone have any experience with 4Runners? Are they good vehicles to drive for the daily grind?
and this video is pretty awesome too
