I went with the Honda battery from the dealership. Cost slightly less than $100 and it has a warranty like the others.

Went through this dilemma last year. I've read good things about the Optima yellow top, but I couldn't justify the price. I'd like a small gel battery too, but with the audio equipment and amp, I wasn't sure that was a good idea either.

In the end, I just bought a standard Die Hard from Sears. I think I paid under $120 for it.

I got a pretty good deal on an Optima Yellow battery from Advance auto parts when I needed one for my Honda Fit. I had to modify the battery box as the only battery at the time that would fit was a Honda brand replacement from the dealer and that was about $140. For about another $30 I got the Optima. It had a 3 year full replacement warranty. Two years and 10 months later the Optima battery had sudden death for some unknown reason. I brought it back and got a new one. Sometimes you actually win one!
