I hear the shirt inspired the black & blue versus white & gold debate. That not enough discussion for you? I hear it nearly took down the internet.

Please everyone, compliment Jeff on his shirt. He asked me to take that pic of him and made sure I got a close up of the shirt

310 HP and 295 lbs-ft of Torque in the Civic Type R

The 310 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque at just 2500 RPM (in a Honda! Jesus!) come from a 2.0-liter turbocharged i-VTEC four. The zero to 62 mph (100 km/hr) dash happens in 5.7 seconds, and top speed is 167 mph.

To help the front wheels manage all that power, the new Type R has a special 'Dual Axis Strut' front suspension system, similar to Ford's RevoKnuckle suspension system from the previous Focus RS. It has an additional steering knuckle "so the wheel steers around a point closer to its center line, reducing torque steer by up to 50 percent compared with a standard Civic," Autocar says. There's also a mechanical limited-slip differential.

It also gets a stiffened rear suspension, adaptive dampers on all four corners, a +R driving mode that makes the experience even racier, high-performance Brembo brakes, a fairly ridiculous but functional aero kit, and suede sport seats inside.

We might get our 1st day above freezing since January 29th today.

The news said it might be a good idea to clear any drains to prevent flooding. How the am I supposed to do that when they're under three feet of snow?

The Civic was un-driveable above 40 mph this morning. The wheels are packed with snow and severely out of balance from plowing through 2-foot drifts in my driveway when I got home from work last night. Hope it melts, or I'll be that guy driving under the speed limit on the way home tonight.
