Default When & Where is the First Drive of the Season?

Maybe its cabin fever that's making me chomp at the bit to get out and start driving. Since we had the meet at Fastrax Raceway the thought of going on a drive has been coming to my mind.

I am thinking about resurrecting the Tri-State for either the first or the second week of June. Also thinking about Rensselaer-Columbia around October or so and we do have the Drive for Levi in July. Going to email Mark 355 at some point about starting up the monthly Panera meets as well. We also have the tech day at Jakes in May.

But we still have April and May unaccounted for as far as drives go? I know in the last couple of years it has either been Brian or Dave that have hosted some drives. We have enjoyed those a lot. So asking them and the rest of us. What do we have in mind for the season?

Are we going to go the Saratoga Museum again? Are we going to drive the roads of Washington County? Are we going to stop by Formula H and stage a photo shoot at lolls' place of work? Are we going to drive at all? Lets discuss.

Saturday May 17th. We meet up in the morning at 10-then on to the Saratoga Auto museum. Leave from there for a drive, then finish up at Halfmoon Sandwich shop for lunch. Weather should be decent by then- Levi will be dug out and able to join us. Rain date Sat. May 24th.

Dave - May 17th is the tech day at Jake's house. Would it be possible for you to pick a weekend prior or after May 17th??
Here is the Upstate event calendar for your review https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/106...-drives-meets/

Dave - seeing that the Sunday 18th and Saturday the 24th are good dates, do you think we should wait for more responses. Say give it 24 hours and finalize a date this time tomorrow?

I'm not sure if I'll be available just yet. Time will be tough this year with the new baby, and also I'm going to be gutting out my soft top and replacing for a hardtop. Also have to replace the intake manifold gasket before it rolls out of the garage. Just waiting for temps to go above 40 here in the damn tundra.
