Went over to my friends garage today and took it out for a short spin.

I've been taking mine out for the last couple weekends now. I take it out for a 45 minute drive and then head home. I also brought it to a body shop last week to get the "gash" removed from the side. Driving around an Insight for a daily really makes me appreciate the S.

Last time the S was on the road was back in early Oct., last time I moved it out of the garage and onto driveway...mid Jan, had to move things around, I see it everyday parked in the garage covered with dust.

Last drove November 29th (longest into the year I've ever driven it, we didn't get any salt put down till the 30th!)

Last saw Sunday (I had to get some stuff out of the garage)

Sat in it twice so far to work the pedals.
I'd avoid working the brake pedal if you can help it. When I put mine away, I leave it in neutral and push it into the garage....and don't put the parking brake on either.

I had issues when storing the Subaru...if I used the brakes to stop it just when putting it into the garage, the calipers wouldn't disengage completely and the first few miles coming out of storage usually came with some grinding as the pads were stuck to the rotor.

Well I reversed mine into the garage. Parking brake is not engaged. Car is parked in Reverse like suggested in his winter storage tips

A couple weeks ago I had to move her from my parents' garage, where she was stored for the winter, to home. My parents were in the process of selling the house, and I expected the house to only sell in the spring. Bad move - they closed 2 weeks ago, so I had 3 days notice to get her home.

It was nice to take her for a spin, but the snow still on some of the roads made it a very slow drive.

Last driven in late October, the last time I saw it was when I was at my parents at Christmas time. I am going through serious withdrawal, which seems to be getting worse the closer we get to spring.

I see it every day, but I don't touch it every day
Of course it looks very strange as all I can see is the grey cover...
