^^ Hmm, unless I'm mistaken those are being marketed as racing wheels. Now if they cant handle a short driving school session, I wonder if they will be able to go the full race distance.

Yikes! I had never heard of that kind of failure. I know that many racing wheels are 3-piece designs as well, even if they don't have visible rivets. I think fikse's are a multi-piece design even though they don't have rivets showing?

Keep in mind though, quality is quality, a Fiske is after all a Fiske, which means it is one of the best wheels on the planet. I have no clue what brand wheel the Vette guy had, and for sure there are some really crappy products out there.

I will never put drilled or slotted rotors on my car.
A quality brake pad will have a slot through the center of the pad material which is more than enough to vent the gas.
Spending a lot of time at the track has biased me, I have seen so many drilled and slotted rotors crack.

gotcha. I know you are not a fan of drilled or slotted rotors. Just checking to see if Brembo would be better than others.
