Default Weekend: Drove the S2K

Wifey and I took a long, nice drive in the S. It never ages.

Charlie 6 got some attention as I replaced an exterior A pillar trim piece, installed a front license plate bracket, cabin air filter, and removed a dead bug in the headlight. It got in there through a small vent hole somehow...

Ha, I have a tiny spider the size of a pea in one of my taillights. He has ridden with me since I've had the car. Wouldn't be the same without him.

Haven't driven my S2000 since Palmer. Hope to drive it next weekend to Jake's and then to autocross. Productive weekend for sure JB

Jeff, I'm glad to see you got rid of the bug easier than the mouse that lived in your datsun 510, way back in the day. haha (took a roll over)

Maybe that spider snuck into the taillight at the factory before it was sealed. You may have a rare and valuable JDM spider

^ great pic Jeff. Cars look so clean.

as an aside, the hoods and trunklids open makes it seem like the cars are doing a flappy hand dance

Hey Jeff,
Did you knock off $100 bucks for that bug in the headlight? I got some driving in last weekend also. My back is finally feeling better and I gave it a shot. I drove down to our camper by Silver Lake on Friday and went out driving Saturday morning. I was surprised to find some really good roads to bomb around on. There is a lot of farm country in Wyoming County and a lot of two lane blacktop with fun corners and nice scenery and not a lot of traffic. Of course it rained in the afternoon or I would have got in some more miles. Got about 150 miles on the odometer and the car turned over 29,000 miles. It will work on a fall drive in the area if there is interest including Letchworth Park.
