The latest issue of Road & Track has a rendering of what could be the next S.

The Honda S3000. Rumors abound that this could be powered by a 3.0 liter V6 or the 3.5Liter mill from the TL. 0-60 times in the sub 5 second range.

If you dont subscribe to R&T, head to the nearest book store and take a look. It will be well worth it. FYI, it is the cover story on the November 08 issue.
As long as they keep the weight down, maintain the driving dynamic of the S2000, I am not objected to a bit more torque down low. As much as I like my S2k I typically don't keep cars too long so I am always keeping my eye's open for my next car. I heard a rumor the S3000 will be FWD, which would be a deal breaker. Right now I am back and forth between a 335i coupe and a boxster S/cayman S, but I like my Honda reliability.

I have travelled alot this year and pretty much on EVERY trip I have seen an S! On the winter trips I have at least seen S in people's garages

Today I was only 30 miles from home and had NOT seen an S all day... that thought JUST crossed my mind when I spotted a flashy red car coming at me on 787 - nope, not an S but it's the red NSX I've seen several times over that way.

I was in the Civic so did not even bother flashing lights But that cheered me up - seeing something with VTEC power

The FWD is for the OSM concept that was displayed. The S3K looks quite close to the way the S looks currently and is expected to have RWD. I hope they launch it sooner as opposed to waay later.

I was driving out of Don Davis Honda yesterday (I put down a deposit for my parents on a new Ridgeline they are purchasing) and I saw an AP1 NFR coming towards me on Niagara Falls Boulevard.

I had my top down (he had his up), I smiled and waved, and he looked at me and gave no recognition at all. I was very and

If you're out in Western NY, I can list at least one yellow car driver who will wave at any S he sees...

I've been there 6 times in the last 12 months

People are going to start seeing alot more of a Silver S in southern NY

Well probably not until March or April at this point but then - lookout!
