Agreed again, I had mine... University Ave, going along minding my own business, I see the car coming, blinker on, does not look good, no way, she ain't stopping, oh chit... I forced the bike right, honestly not sure wbat was about to happen but knew a headon hit would be bad, to my joy I was aimed.right for the wheelchair ramp up onto the sidewalk, I hit that, felt like the bike went airborn, and rode it out, right across several people's front yard. That and the near deer hit are my two scariest mcy situations.

Well VFR is inspected- good
The stator checks out ok as it is putting out a good 14 volts- good
The R&R needs to be replaced as it is under performing, no charge low rpms, overcharge high rpms- bad
Currently the R&R is shown on backorder until 5/31, but that is just a fill in date for month ending and may not really be the case, may know more tomorrow- ugly

Forget it, I found it
Watch this video
I got a ton of thick aluminum stock, and all the equipment to cut it
I wonder if I might just do this mod

Guy I know just bought one of these
So damn cool, looks like a restored Cafe Racer
Triumph Thruxton
I just don't think I could ever own a 2-cylinder though
After 2 I4's and now the V4, I just can't see me ever wanting a twin
But damn, the bike does indeed look really cool
