With suspension travel like that, it's an off-road bike to me, regardless of the rubber

They are incredibly light weight. The fastest bike I saw at the dragon was a Motard.

When my son wanted a bike license, I bought myself a Speed Triple, and him a Suzuki DRZ400SM for training.
Best money spent on him. Like me, he's ridden motocross and observed trials, so he was used to lightweight machines that go. Much better way to adapt from dirt to street.

There is a 2001 VFR on Craigslist with 1200 original miles. A little pricey at $6k, but if I didn't have mine, I'd be looking at it.
Really, you post these just to drive me crazy right???
WTF, 1,200 miles... wow
Yea, $6k is high, but if's it's really nice I would have paid $5k for it.
Now stop

Looks like the one I have. If so, you'll have to trim the plate.
Hmmmmm, mine snapped right in
Must be a quality thing, not a price thing
I thought you would find this funny
Both new plates for the cars had to be trimmed to fit into the plate frames I have used for years, I have never had to do that before

i have had or ridden nearly every type of sportbike out there, and motards are by far the most fun. i rail down a twisty road, undercarving a sportbike then go hit some single track with enduro guys, then finish it off with some motocross action. only thing that stops me solid is mud.
