Got me my newest motorcycle accessory...

For the very 1st time in my life my prescription did not change, so I decided to splurge
I bought these specifically for the bike, the frames are safety frames, OSHA Certified, the lenses are 85% hold back, polarizing, OSHA Certifies safety Polycarbonate
I have never had a set of plastic frames that had adjustable nose pieces, like my metal frames have always had
I tried them on last night, under the helmet, and they fit, not a lot of extra room in there because I like a snug fit for my helmets, and it is only a size small

So Cone, I got my vinyl samples from Sargent when I got home
The Carbon Fix fabric is a bit too bling for me, so I don't think I'll do that
The Smooth is just that, too smooth, kinda dull and thin, so I don't think I'll do that
The K-02 is a nice leather-like small tight grain, very real leather like look and resist stretching, I like it
The Allante is also a leather like but a bigger more coarse grain that looks a bit more fake because it is so coarse and does indeed have a tendency to stretch, I like it but maybe a tad less than the K-02
Stretchy wise the two stretchiest are Carbon Fix and Allante, then comes Smooth, and the most rigid is K-02
I think I'm going to email back Lucas from Sargent and ask them if the stretchy ones are going to loose their shape over time, which would be a negative, although might be more comfy because of the give
Right now I think I'm leaning towards K-02, but maybe Allante is the way to go
I think Lucas said Allante was $20 more, so I have to figure out if it is just $20 more or if it is really better

BTW- when I post all this good stuff on VFRD I sure hope you reply, I have posted several places how great and helpful you have been, but I have yet to see you reply, maybe you are just to humble

I just ordered my seat
I went with the Allante for twenty bucks more
My contact said it is indeed a bit more comfy and for sure thicker
Should have it by the time I can ride again, no thanks to Mother Nature....

AND- he tossed in a free baseball cap, two-tone embroidered, cool, one more for my collection, for free

Looks like the one I have. If so, you'll have to trim the plate.

Too soon Junior...a 5th gen Sargent front 1/2 seat is in the VFRD classifieds for $125.

You'll be happier with yours with the custom fabric.
