I suspect the battery in the VFR was new when I bought it...
I had it on the trickle charger a few times this winter, popped it in tonight, and the beast fired right up.
Man-o-man do I ever love fuel injection, the Nighthawk NEVER started like this, just getting that thing cranked over and fired the 1st time would almost always kill whatever charge I had in it.
The VFR though, not like that at all!
I did not get a chance to ride tonight as the tire pressures are low, but I ran it up to 221 and the fan kicked right in, yeeha!
I have my air tank in the truck and will get the tires fixed tomorrow.
Saturday I should be mobile...
My paw feels fine for biking, amazing really as it has only been some 5 to 6 weeks since surgery, the incision area is still tender, but that area is not in contact with the handlegrip, and I have already established full grip strength
I can't wait to go for my 1st ride, because I now even have booties...

I'm going to approach it very, very slowly, it's only been 1-month 1-week and 1-day since surgery...
I figure I'll get air in the tires and go for a short little ride on Saturday, and see how it goes.
Sat- high 68, 10% chance of rain
Times of sun and clouds
Highs in the upper 60s and lows in the low 50s
