I'm not convinced that they did. I've been tempted to take them off to see if I would miss them.

Hey Cone, I love your seat, and matching tank bra, but I hate my old bra because although it fits great it is way too glossy and slippery, and the new bra I bought fits poorly and does not even, ome close to matching my seat, unlike yours. So I have decided to go with a custom fit clear 3M bra like thing. The guy who customed brawed my truck will do my tank in clear, covering almost the whole tank so I will no longer have to worry about scratching the tank with the magnetic tank bag nor covering up any of the beautiful yellow. I'll keep ya posted on the progress.

Of course the next thing on my list, if you can convince me it is worth it, please be honest, is an aftermarket seat. Is Corbin the way to go or should I look into another brand?

I had a Corbin for the ST. Did not like it. Very heavy, didn't fit well. I sold it and picked up a Travelcade. Loved the Travelcade! As far as I know, Travelcade doesn't make one for the VFR. I bought a Sargent for my VFR. Big improvement over the stock seat, but not as nice as the Travelcade seat.

Looks like Travelcade is now Saddlemen.
