Well for 2012 make it a new years resolution to do at least 3 events, of something, this year!
My Dad and I were very close, I feel like I grew up in his shop.
As an adult from my mid-30's I was out there with him every Sunday.
As he died 2-years ago I live my life now having no regrets, none, we were very close and shared so much together
Nobody wants to think about it, but the reality is, they don't live forever.
You have the vacation time, use it.
That's just IMHO...

I think I'm going to buy these...
They may not be the ultimate in protection, but just like my new gloves, if I can find somethin comfortable I will wear it, and, wearing something that offers some protection is better than nothing or plain street cloths that offer nearly noreal protection at all.

________

Thank you for the email and for checking with us. If you get the shoes and they do not fit there is no problem to do a return or exchange. We do not charge a restocking fee but we do ask that you take care of the shipping back to us. As a convenience, we offer US Customers an automated RMA request system and the option to print a return shipping label in their home or office for just $8.99 (will be deducted from the credit card refund or gift certificate). Customers may find less expensive ways to ship return merchandise and are free to use any method they choose.

We offer free ground shipping for all orders over $89.00 so the Fastlane shoes would qualify for the free UPS ground shipping.

Too cool, thanks for the head's up
This is where I got my Kangaroo gloves

Guy at work has car driving shoes in a 9.5, I was thinking I would order a 9
He is going to bring his in, I figure this ought to help me guess on a size

Any thoughts on the shoe itself?
I know they don't offer ultimate.protection, but they have to be better than the basic shoes I have now that don't cover my ankles...
