Then took at trip around caroga lake sunday and back home. Did 450 miles on the bike between sat and sunday, my ass was killing me. My poor girlfriend was on the back the whole time, tiny little sportbike seat, She's such a trooper!
I did 1100-1200 miles from Sunday to today. Spent 3 nights in Long Lake. Even with a pair of padded bicycle shorts, my butt is a little sore. The weather wasn't very cooperative, but there were some highlights. The new Michelins got a work out all the way to the edges!

Now that's a nice long ride
And your soar butt is with an aftermarket seat
What brand again?
Maybe I won't copy you on that brand

I've done 500-600 mile a day trips on my motorcycle with no butt soreness.

Granted I do have a cruiser and I bought a $700 Corbin seat...worth every penny!

I loved the Travelcade seat on the ST1100. I could ride for days with that one. The Sargent on the VFR is a big improvement over the stock seat, but is only good for a couple of hours. I think sport bike seats are too narrow to distribute the load as well as the ST or cruiser seats.

I want summer weight rain gloves.
Try a good golf rainglove. Thin but provide great grip.

Just picked up a ram mount for the bike. gpscity.com has ridiculously low prices on ram mounts and bike stuff, shipping was only like 2.50 as well. Good place and highly recommended, fast shipping also
