Not sure if this matches Marc's criteria, but I thought this looked like a good deal and could possibly be of interest to him. Asking for $4500

Looks right, but he has his heart set on yellow, and, I'm afraid he has shelved his plans for a while as his house has needs he has decided to concentrate on.

F'ing Finally...

Got 38.7 miles on the bike last night
I ran a few errands in Henrietta then too the long way home south to almost Avon and then back up north to the house

It's interesting, this bike feels completely normal to me now, the feel of the Nighthawk seems to have faded from memory

CONE_MARK

Let's talk tire pressure
My new tires say max cold pressure 42, and of course they are not the OEM models
The pressure specs on the sticker on the chain guard says 36 FRT, 42 BCK
I do not ever recall riding with such a big disparity front to back
As I recall the old balding Battlaxs were run at 40 FRT, 40 BCK
What's the max cold pressure of your Michelins?
What's the pressures you are running front and back?

109 is much more powerful than I remembered. Had some fun.
A little tough on the neck...
Congrats!
Don't push it too hard, be good to that neck!

All the time I was riding last night I was thinking about my riding position, how much was I gripping the handlebar, and if I was feeling any numbing up...
I need to get more miles under my belt so I can just stop thinking about the carpal tunnel surgery
I would swear though, the right hand felt way the hell better than the left one...

3 Problems:

- Wrong year
- Wrong color
- Way more than I can afford

To be honest, I don't know the max pressures. I run the recommended, which is the same as yours.

You shouldn't be using hardly any effort to grip the bars. Your fingers should be relaxed to the point that they are barely in contact, very light touch. I'm still working on that concept, but getting better.
