Suzuki Recursion Concept

99 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 74 lb.-ft. of torque at just 4,500 gives the Recursion concept an impressively broad, torquey power delivery. In comparison, a GSX-R600 develops only 51 lb.-ft. at a sky-high 11,500 rpm. All that torque will have to motivate only 384 lbs of (dry) weight.

2014 VFR800: (Let's hope they bring it to the States.)
HONDA launched the new VFR800F today at the Milan motorcycle show.
The new bike supercedes the current VFR800 and Honda say they’ve developed it with a close eye on feedback from owners of the current VFR800.
The frame remains unchanged but the new aluminium subframe is 3kg lighter. The aluminium single-sided Pro-Arm swingarm is new, as is the 43mm Honda Multi-Action System (HMAS) which features stepless spring preload adjustment and 108mm wheel travel; the HMAS gas-charged rear shock operates through a Pro-Link suspension linkage with remote spring preload and stepless rebound damping adjustment.
The front brakes are now radially mounted and the VFR800F features twin floating 310mm discs. The bodywork is all-new and the front headlight is now LED. Honda claim the 21.5L fuel tank offers a 215 mile plus cruising range. The underseat exhausts have gone, now replaced with a single conventional exhaust.
The seat is height adjustable (789mm or 809mm) using the tool provided and a handlebar height spacer, adding 15mm is available as a Honda Genuine Accessory.
A new dashboard houses a digital speedometer/tachometer plus gear position indicator, ambient temperature gauge, fuel consumption informationand clock. There’s also an indicator for the 5-stage heated grips, which are fitted as standard
There’s also a shift-assist (quickshifter) on the accessories list.
The VFR800F will be available in the following colour options: Pearl Glare White, Darkness Black Metallic, Victory Red

Looks awesome.
Is there a reason why they would not bring it stateside? Would it cannibalize the sales of an existing model sold here? There seem to be quite a few of the VFRs sold here through the years. Isn't the US the largest market for them?

The 6th Gen 800 like mine is still available overseas. They dropped it from the US market when the 1200 was introduced. This looks like a refresh of the 6th Gen. (Same motor and frame.)
