I was hit by a car while riding a bicycle as a kid. One of the biggest things I remember was both of my sneakers laying in the road after the impact. The laces were still tied!

Says armored in the title, but I don't see any armor. I would look for a name brand with CE approved armor in the shoulders and elbows, and at least a foam backpad.

Yeah, I had been looking at motorcyclegear.com, but everything on closeout is definitely NOT even close to my size.

Unfortunately, the good deals go fast at motorcyclegear.com. You can sign up for their mailing list. They will send updates, (weekly?), when they add stuff to the closeout pages. If I'm in the market for something, I'll sign up. I cancel the subscription when I'm done shopping. There are also good deals on used gear at ADVRider. You have to become a member, but it doesn't cost anything. I got a great deal on a 1 piece suit, boots, and even a wireless router from their classifieds recently.

Did a little research on this jacket. Has shoulder, elbow and back "padding." I would not call that armor.
