I knew he was destined for military.
In 2nd grade, they had an open house at the school.
I opened his little desk, and there was a handgrenade with a note saying "In case of homework, pull pin".
It was a real grenade without the primer or charge, but nowadays, he'd probably have been on the run to Ecquador if you had something like that at school...
Foulone built a bazooka and brought it into my now uncle in laws science class for credit.
The bazooka was to combat excessive bagpipes in the neighborhood :}

On a related note, I was talking to an State Inspector that inspects and licences Child Care facilities, and she said the state has legislated the fun out of growing up.
