Took the bike to work today. I'm sitting at my desk drinking my coffee when two cops come in the front door and ask who owns the motorcycle. At first I actually thought they wanted to compliment my motorcycle, I was completely thrown off as I had already been sitting at my desk for 15 minutes... Turns out that wheelie I did on Broadway was right past a cop standing on the sidewalk... unsafe start an out of inspection ticket. Happy Friday

how did they find you? the cop actually managed to see your plate? probably all smiles at first when you thought they were going to compliment your bike bet that changed quick....

they saw my bike parked at work. I'm still smiling, it's hilarious and a funny story. they'll knock down the tickets in court no problem.

I would think this would be easy to knock down, if not thrown out. They have no proof that you were riding it.

cop told me to just plead not guilt and i'll get a parking ticket. I rode it in today to get it inspected, so he said bring that with me and they'll toss that out too

Had an idiot try to kill me on the bike this morning. I was heading east on a 55mph two lane. A semi was heading west. Car pulls out from behind the semi to pass. I had to pull on to the shoulder to let him by.

Not a good thing on the day of the wake for my friend.

Sadly some people actually don't care. Early in the morning I saw a semi pass a car in front of me last year on RT22 in Wingdale. There was a car with it's headlights on coming the opposite direction and kept on going. I couldn't believe it! Completely put the car on the shoulder of the road!. Turns out it was a Dutchess County Sheriff! SWEET JUSTICE! He caught up to him a couple miles down the road. I bet he was PISSED!
