Here's another thought for the 21st or 22nd heading east at the New York State fairgrounds we could make a run to the Rightcoastcars "Sportcompact car and truck blast show" I'm told this is a huge show check it out at:
http://sc.rightcoastcars.com/index2.html
James, There's a casino a little farther east "Turning Stone"
I really enjoyed the 2 runs we had last year and really deserve more this year, after the winter we went through.
Where's The SUN????????
I'm thinkin we could all meet for breakfast for which ever day is the best sat. or sun. , then go to show. Thruway or back way there?
THOUGHTS?

Testut--Thanks for your reply, and for the links--I will check them out. I don't know yet what kind of racing, as I don't know what I am capable of. I've just gotten some info from SCCA, so that should help. Thanks again. NYC
P.S. Are there any other women S owners in this area--or, if I come to an event, will I be the only one?

Well my wife claims half ownership, and we do end up fighting over the keys quite a bit. Valerie co-drives with me at the autocrosses too. SCCA auto-crossing is the best way to get started racing. It's low risk and a great place to learn car control.
