And to be honest, I, ummmm, gulp, ran my 1st track school at the Glen with the S on a rubber plug patch on a rear, balding S-02......
In my defense let me just say, I got a screw in my tire at less than 1,500 miles, and it was plugged
Shortly after that my car was driven to Vermont where it sat for nearly 3-months
When I got the car back, rollbar done, I went to my 1st school with it
It was not until Sunday when I was driving home that I remembered I had patched the tire
Had I remembered it, I would have replaced both rears before doing that school

It's just so f'ing cool...
IT just got delivered bagels, cream cheese, muffins, orange juice, napkins and knives
I'll no longer be on OS 10.5 by the end of the day, I think he is stepping me up to 10.6.8, I don't even have that on my G5 here
I'm still amazed I have a Mac

Opposing attorney showed up in the office for a deposition yesterday driving a 1999-2000 S2000 with 115,000 miles. Has has had it from new. The interior was a little "tired" but the car exterior of the car looked great. Not active on any of the S2000 boards - not interested. The car was some sort of prize at Foxwoods casino, but whoever won it wanted something else. It got traded back to the dealer and the wife bought it "second hand" for him as a present on New Year's Eve, 1999.

The touch pad area is sort of shinny from all the finger rubbing, no biggie
The area to the left of the touch pad has what looks like one scratch that has removed some color, and then it was touched up, I'll give it a good clean and go from there, also a no biggie
The worst area of wear, which just amuses the helll out of me is the right corners, it is clear this thing was slid into a laptop carrier over and over and over and that sliding into the laptop bag has worn through the outer coating, to me this is also a no biggie
In fact I find that last one funny, because I have a mark just like that on the dash of my S, right where my jeans rub when I get into the car, it's character

115,000 miles since 99 means it is a daily driver. Good for him
I met another person with an AP1 a couple of years ago at a Starbucks and he did not have any interest in signing up on the forum either. I guess its all good as long as they enjoy the car

BMW launched an app called ULTIMATE DRIVE. It tells you about all the fun roads based on the area in which you live in. One can also enter the roads they think are fun. Available for both iPhone and Droid.
I can see them integrating this with their GPS units in the future. What is sad though is that all the nice roads will likely be known to all driving up traffic. Tracy Road and Taborton Road are both on there.
