Keep up the good work on the articles, love them all!

Thanks for the endorsement Harry. I appreciate it

I'm torn as well about mods. I'd say the only mods I have are a Ricks counter sunk shift knob, BYS Spoiler (that S2KNFR very kindly gave me) and the OEM hardtop I have always wanted. I purchased a coastal metals splitter and will likely put it on soon once I get the under side of the lip cleaned and waxed. Forced induction would be awesome, but I'm a bit too chicken to do anything that big. As it is the car is more than I can handle.
I'm keeping it simple. Eibach Pro kit springs, Eibach swaybars, '08 wheels, S-Pod rear speakers, Modifry shift buzzer. I've done the modified car thing with the X1/9s. Coil overs, headers, harsh ride, loud exhaust, etc. Honda got this one right! I'm massaging it slightly to make it mine.

Have you ever traveled up the full length of Rudd Pond RD to where it returns out onto RT 22?
It's a nice alternative scenic drive if you happen to not be in a hurry.
Fullback Bob,

I do the lower half of Rudd Pond Road quite often, and will probably be on that road tonight in about 2 hrs. What color S are you driving? I saw a NFR heading north on Rudd Pond Rd. two Sundays ago, evening about 7:30.

On the roll bar issue, Lime Rock will not allow the stock S2000 without a SCCA type roll bar or a factory hardtop. Mark and I did Watkins Glen a few weeks ago with SCDA with stock roll bars. Buy I was too tall in the saddle and Watkins Glen complained, so I was asked to run with the top up - At least that way they couldn't see how high I was.

66k on mine, and that includes 7-hard track years
Problems to date
- cooling fan and backup fan
- both rear wheel bearings
- both rear hubs
- gas cap
- catalytic converter
- door light switch in passenger's door
All replaced under extended warranty that I bought for only $830
Biggest problem the car has now is a loose power outlet

And I may have heard the scariest noise ever today, that of an 18-wheeler going into full lockup right behind me
And I'm sure there us some trucker cursing out a yellow S2000...
Thruway, stuck in a left lane slow moving train, I get a gap and pull infront of the truck in the right lane, still blocked in and going only 60-ish
All of a sudden the truck in front of me swerves into the left lane only to reveal a delaminated tire tread
I nail the brakes and jump into the left lane
The trucker locks it up and blasts right over the top of the crap, just behind me...
I avoided it all but one tiny piece that whacked the underside of the car, no problem
Man, it was all so close and happened so quick
