Oh HELL NO to the Mercury Grand Marquis being on that list.
A co-worker of mine wrecked his Mazdaspeed 6 and decided to buy one of those as a beater car till his insurance went back down.
The car has ZERO pickup (pushing down on the gas just makes it louder and watch the mileage drop - it doesn't really go any faster), and the amount of body roll on that thing into corners is astronomical, to say the least.
That isn't fun to drive. What it does do is cruise down the road pretty well.
I would not want to take that thing out on a track. No way, no how.

^ I dont know. Seems like the front seats lack the kind of support one would need for a long road trip. Never drove the big car, but I drove a Mercury Sable (Taurus) on a long road trip years ago to Lake Superior and back. Was not too comfortable in the drivers seat.

I should venture back into auto racing sometime. I actually got to watch part of the Mid Ohio race. Was a great weekend in 2008 to see Indy and ALMS run there.
Made me wonder once again what school might offer HPDE track day there
Besides Honda who offers schools for $600 where you drive one of their cars. Just a "tad" too pricey for me

ARD is pretty much dead of late. With Ferrari not really dominating like they used to, the tifosi have been staying away. This season it just got slower midway through.
Thanks to Jenson Button and McLaren for those two awesome victories in the rain, we actually had two threads go beyond 50 posts
