Yet another fatality within a mile of my house That's 2 within about 2 weeks.

But when it happens to me, I'm rewarded with no power for up to 36 hours...
Horribley when F1 is on
Today an SUV driver cut off an oncoming motorcycle. Woman was dead on the scene. Pretty creepy, I could still see the dark stain in the road when I went by a couple hours later and the chalk marks the police made where things were and piecing together what happened.
With these two and then Tom's accident only about 5 miles away I am really creeped out driving the last few days.

Wow Ellen sounds like that's not a safe road.
My driveway wasn't safe yesterday, came home and I KNOW there is a rock sticking up on the
neighbors side where I turn around yet I went too far and destroyed my carbon fiber splitter.
Got another one on the way, but it was a $380 mistake. grr

Question for the bikers on here
Should bikers be allowed to ride through a red light that has not detected them?

Either fix the plates so motorcycles trigger the lights or let bikes go through but ONLY after coming to a
complete stop and making sure there is no traffic coming in either direction.

I'm sorry but the patient is dead, now I got to figure out what to do next
The idea of a Macbook has become very appealing to me
I think I will begin by looking for a used one that comes with a 90 day warranty
There seems to be several sellers, including a local one I think I'll go visit tomorrow

Sorry to hear about the Macbook. I think that would be your best option, very handy. Like your phone only bigger screen and keys
My new want item is the 50" TV I saw at Walmart yesterday. It was so big it was mesmerizing Only $500 - I may have to put my credit card in the freezer in a bowl of ice for awhile.

I have spent the morning searching, here is what I'm looking at, thoughts?
MACBOOKS
- 2.O GHz, 1GB Ram, White, 10.6 OS, 60-day warranty - $569
- 2.16 GHz, 1GB Ram, White, 10.6 OS, Superdrive, 30-day warranty - $569
- 2.4 GHz, 2 GB Ram, White, 10.6 OS, Superdrive, 30-day warranty - $679
- 2.4 GHz, 2 GB Ram, Black, 10.5 OS, Superdrive, 90-day warrranty - $599
There is no way I'll buy a used Mac from ebay or craig's list, Marc's perfectly fine working unit that no longer lives made me a bit gun shy, so I have only looked at used sites that have a warranty, and a sales force that likes to reply to all my emails
