The pricing is what gets me too. Honda and Toyota are almost gouging their customers if you want a sedan with anything other than a base engine.
To get an Accord sedan with a V6 (and no other options) you start at $28k
To get a Camry with a V6 you start at over $30k
No wonder they have higher resale values when the Hyundai already gives you a comparable vehicle for $3-5k less.

The base model Accord I had got me a fiar price after all the miles I'd put on it. I dont think the resale is higher only because they are priced higher.

You can unengineer much of that understeer right out with a new allignment and different settings
Don't ecclude cars just because they come from the factory in "safe mode"
The Nissan Z would be an awesome choice as well, I have seen plenty on the track, and with the traction control off, they go like stink
The Z had always been one of my desired next cars
And believe me, wanting to learn RWD on track is something I totally get, that is exactly why the CRX-Si was retired and the S2000 bought

Used to be a time, when all they looked like were cheap knockoffs. No longer true and that is a good thing. Hyundai and Kia have a fierce rivalry, they share resources and each would love to beat the crap out of the other.
In any case, Im going to wait for the Chinese cars to arrive here. pretty sure they will be the next Hyundai/Kia and with the way the renminbi is managed, they should sell an Equus like sedan at the price of a Civic
