Fuccillo Hyundai has 6 Velosters coming before month end, 4 of them are sold, we are confirming today if one of the two remaing are manual, if so, the test drive will most likely be next week

The AP1 is a tad sharper than an AP2, it's not some f'ing evil fire breathing monster, it's just a bit sharper/quicker/stiffer
When I first started here it was all about bump-steer, the car was undriveable, it was a poor suspension design, the thing would crash with no warning
The hype about how scary and dangerous the car was started to get me concerned as hell, after I had already placed my down payment
The reality is, I have never had bump-steer problems and I do indeed drive hard over a variety of less than perfect roads
When I did my lurid 270-degree high-speed spin down in Turn 7, it was caused 100% by driver error, I was pushing too hard, I was not smooth enough, I simply went beyond the coefficient of friction
There was nothing wrong with the car, and just like I over drove it, I believe all these crashes are caused by the same thing, over driving the car
It's a car, it's not a train, it's not on a track, chit can happen when people push it too far

^ can't say I disagree with you. People just need to slow down, although it is kind of hard to do in the S2000.

Can you describe what you think caused the 270 degree turn? What were the weather conditions like?

All the hype cost me a half season of autocross. I got a slow start because I was a little timid with the car. By mid season, it became evident that the hype was from inexperienced noobs with FWD backgrounds. The number one lesson learned is don't abruptly lift or brake if the rear decides to step out.
