Morning all

I left the house at 5:20 this morning, and it was 50-degrees, wow

A clear 53 here this am, going up to 'bout 80 later. Good day for mowing.

Sleepless night, the a/c in my bedroom decided it didn't want to work. No breeze through the windows. Ugh.

That sucks, sleepless nights make for very long days the next day

I guess I'm lucky, I love the hot, I'm looking forward to Arizona next week

Never had A/C
Slept like a baby last night because it was a wonderful cool evening last night
Core house temp was down to 67 when I got up this morning
Now with all the windows closed and the blinds drawn, it will only be warm, not hot, when I get home tonight

We have a "house fan" - not sure if there's a more proper name for the contraption in the new place... sucks all the hot air out and vents it from the house.

I am amazed how much cooler if feels, especially upstairs. Tom is working tonight, I will be taking another car load over tonight and unpacking.

Marc, I'll trade your no A/C for kids stomping around over my head at midnight again last night

NINE MORE DAYS!!!

I've always said, I'd prefer to be cold than hot.

If you're cold - pile another blanket on. Put on a sweater. Wool socks anyone?

Too hot? Can only take off so much if you're in public...

I'm pretty sure it is 100% legal for women to go topless in NY. A freedom that is too infrequently used
