After seeing prices on 17" tires I am not nearly so excited about getting 2008 wheels
And my drywall saga continues! Looking at 8x4x1/4" sheets now, which weigh in at 38 lbs each...
In order to fit these into the Fit, I would need to cut in 1/2. This would not only eliminate problems of needing help transporting but I am also confident I can lift 19 lbs for minute to get it screwed into ceiling studs.
The 1/4" board is $1 more per sheet than the 1/2" or 3/8" so I'm thinking I may do this by priority... like doing the area over my exercise bike first.
Looked at the 2x2 replacement panels but that would more than double my price... although it would be super easy to transport and to install... decisions decisions

1) the sheet material does not go all the way to the edge of the wall because there are no studs right next to the wall to nail it into
2) you can not pull it tight enough no matter what and the material "billows"
3) it was super hard to put up because you have to drape most of it over top of you to nail it up
4) cutting out holes around light fixtures looks sloppy and probably dangerous to have cloth that close to electrical
5) Sheets are expensive, even at walmart
For the qty I would need I priced it out about $75... for a few bucks more I could have real drywall that would look neat, go all the way to the wall, be flat to the ceiling and I could put some spackle over the screw heads so they don't look like little spiders waiting to fall on me.
It's all about not having spiders touching me in case no one has figured that out
