I've been trying to bank as much vacation time as possible ever since I started working full-time here.
The maximum we are allowed to have is 40 vacation days. After blowing 5 days last week, I think I'm hovering around 25 remaining.
I just want to get to the max so that I have them if I ever want them.

Dont want to wander in the Knapp Thread, but based on Doug's list there are 17 AP2's and 10 AP1's which brings the total to 27. I remember him saying we had 29 participants in S2000's. I'm guessing two of them did not want to be a part of the group or are coming with other friends.

my ap1 sucks and is falling apart and most likely won't make it back from knapp.
your ap2 is better because and solely because it is not falling apart and will make it back from knapp.

I use every day, every year, maybe I'll carry over one or two but that's it. I don't think I'd be allowed to carry much more than that anyway. I took a week in June, one in August, taking a long weekend in September and the rest I use/used in days.
Vacation time is good for the soul. Batteries need to be recharged.
Any day out of the office is a good day in my book.
Can you tell I'm hoping to retire before I turn 80?
