Ambit
Funny, for some reason every time I see that word I think I'm reading Armpit

All I know is if my property was bigger and more open, I would want one of these WindTamers
In my area they are indeed starting to pop up all over
They have 3 some different sizes
This is one of the smallest

Ellen

How far is your new place from Cuddebackville, NY? It is close to Middletown. Looking at trying this. May be cheaper than a track outing.

Spent my lunch hour hanging out in the motorcycle parking area with a bunch of bikers, watching the Blue Angels drum up interest for the airshow this weekend. Very difficult to come back in and work!

Lived with my parents until I was 26, then bought the house I'm living in today.
No apartments for me and not planning on ever moving again.
When I turned 18 I was given three choices
1- don't go to college, move out of the house, get a job and support myself 100%
2- go to RIT, they would pay for room and board, tuition was free, I could come back and live there during the summer without it costing anything
3- go to another college, pay for everything with jobs and loans, I could come back and live there during the summer without it costing anything

I choose #2

I stayed in the dorms until I was 20, never bought my house till I was 43, and the mariage years don't count, there were about 5 of them...
After I graduated high school, I had the same option...college or you pay rent.

I did college for a year, wasn't for me, so then I took a 9 month computer programming/operations course. After graduation they helped
me find a job. Been in the computer support field ever since. When I got the job, mom and dad made me pay rent but not a lot, $150 a
month I believe, but I still had to do lots of house stuff (pool maintenance, trash, lawn, etc.).

First job lasted a year, company shut down. Second job had stock options, accumulated those long enough to put a down payment on a house
and then moved out, into a brand new house. My parents believed it was a waste of money to rent so I didn't. Plus, staying at home I still
got to eat 3 times a day and had a nice place to live.

Me either. The rule in my parents house was no motorcycles while under their roof. Bought my new Nighthawk S less than six months after moving out.

I was able to have an off-road bike but no street bike until I had my house.
