Think I need an exhaust soon. This morning I was behind a 135i that had a custom exhaust and boy was it sounding good. Very light traffic as we made our way down a two lane road to the Dunn Memorial bridge, me behind him. He was ripping through construction areas

Anyways we came to the bridge, and I passed him on the inside going around a corner. I was modulating the gas pedal on the Si. He was on the brake pedal having carried a little too much speed into the turn. And then I did not see him as I surged ahead on to the straight and into the sweeping right hander to head to work. That bridge makes my commute so much fun.

But that exhaust note in the clear early morning air struck a chord. Think I wants one someday for the S2000.

This pic does not really do justice to all the corners you can find on that bridge

Sounds like a fun commute! Bridges make me nervous. I think I have watched too many disaster movies. I always want to unbuckle my seat belt, roll down my windows and be ready to swim

My commute is only 4 miles to work, but from the bridge onwards to the parking garage it is a lot of fun.

I love my commute, but it is all 30, 35, and 40, not what I would call fun, but it is scenic and calm along the river

I waited like 6 years before I put on my exhaust, and right after I got it on, I said to myself, no way should I have waited this long...

I really should not get tempted. Water problems + rickety deck = no $$$ for bike

my commute is also at those speeds. Just that parts of it have a lot of corners that are fun at a legal speed. I always drive the limit on public streets.

No worries Marc. There will be more for when the time is right. Your home takes absolute priority over everything else. Good luck with the repairs

Has anyone come by to take a look at it yet?
