Looking to get Karla new summer tires for her Si soon. Looking for a good 18" tire that'll wear well, she doesn't track the car, and puts snows on for the winter.

Levi, I thought the alloy wheels on your Si are 17". The Hankook Ventus V12 EVO appears to be a good choice. Most of the people I know on 8thCivic either go for the expensive tires or get all-season crap.

I loved the RS-2 and would have got the RS-3's for sure, Just that expenses have been higher and the V12 EVO seemed like the perfect tire for the long road trip I'm thinking off.

You could also look at the Sumitomo HTR-Z III and the Dunlop Star Specs. Hankook though is the cheapest and the cheapest Hankook tire is the V12 EVO. it does not disappoint
aa---you got the old 17's, she replaced them with the black 18" wheels a few years ago.
Thanks for the suggestions.

Yep I remember seeing those wheels on her car. Did not know they were 18s though

They look good nonetheless. Local craigslist ad has the HFP 18" Si wheels listed for ~$600. Thought about it briefly and then decided to pass on it. I already have way too much stuff.

Oil based baby, oil based!

Little tip for those who use oil based paints.
How do you clean your hands afterwards?
Do you use the harsh chemicals you use to clean your brush?
If you want to get your hands clean, and be easy on them, you need to get some Baby Oil
I typically have some right in the garage, because it cuts through oil based paint and grease and nasty grime, and does not expose you to harsh chemicals or undue painful scrubbing

Congrats
I got mine cut on Friday
Then cut twice more on Saturday as I ran over it crisscross to bag up the ton and a half of cut crass
Now, just Tuesday morning and it looks like it could be cut again...

That sucks, a waste of a rare car
I know lots of people prefer the raw simple nature of the F40, but I have always had a weekness for the elegant beauty of the F50
Someone needs to pay the owner, logically it should be the employer of the ass who crashed it, but, sadly, in this case it means we are going to be paying for this dolt's screwup
Honestly I hope the judge makes sure someone pays
