Busy day already here...

Had fun on the drive in. The new traffic circle is right next to a new dorm being build. Well, the truck entrance is apparently nothing but mud now, and it has just coated the traffic circle. I had nobody ahead of me today, so I did a semi-unintentional drift through the circle this morning in the Frontier

This one was south of me about 2-miles
http://www.democratandchronicle.com/...hearted-friend

The road there is flat, straight, clear visibility, 55-mph
The rumor Mom heard from a teacher in the Naples district is the girl driving was swerving, to have fun
I don't know if that is true, but what I do know is the tire marks on the road
Clearly a livid slide as the car left the road, it then went down into a very shallow culvert, up and out of culvert across a driveway, into the front yard, and impacted a tree
The torn off bark on that tree as shown in the D&C story is huge, as in 4-feet high, half the diameter of the tree
The car rolled after the tree impact and burst into flames
Nasty!

In a stretch no more than 10-miles I can count 4 deaths in the past 4 years, 2 have been just in the past 2-months

Oh, the drunk lady
That's like you said, quite a ways away
I drive that route to and from work
It's amazing how often people crash into the trees through there
BUT
The speed limit is just 35, so people are going slower
They mess up the tree and their vehicle, but don't die

hmm...and nothing the authorities can do. Clearly there is enugh traffic there that gets into trouble. If there was someone analysing the data something would have been done.

Maybe they should rename the road Spaburgring after the Nurburgring for all the fatalities on it.

I think this would be as much or more fun than an Ariel Atom
