The image of the 6-wheeled car from the AutoBlog link to 2011 Goodwood stayed in my mind. Here is a First-Drive report of the car. There is something arresting about it

Here is another interesting story about Monster Tajima and his new record at Pikes Peak

That sucks. I did that about your age. The cap has held up VERY well. Cost a small fortune at the time but I have more than got my money's worth after all these years

So, I am sitting here drinking a beer and Tom is at the shoe store
What's wrong with this picture?
We had a good time today with my mom... we visited Lake Champlain Chocolates - very good but very over priced. Picked up a few things for gifts (especially the guy who is taking care of the kitties), then off to a "tour" at Teddy Bear Factory which was kind of neat to see how they make them.
Then off to our all time favorite Indian food restaurant - who still does not have a web site. My mom and I have not been there in at least 5 years but the owner still remembered us and even my favorite dish! We used to spend ALOT of time there
Had a breif really hard thunder shower but otherwise weather has been great.
Off to Ben and Jerry's tomorrow, then dinner with my mom down her way.
