if all you cared about were the winner... why record the entire race? why not just watch the ending to see who won?
your logic of speed spoiling the race for you is flawed. by recording the whole race (or attempting to at least) you show interest in the entire happenings (as i also assume you do because you are a track person). Yeah, so you already know who won, but i'm assuming that 95% of your enjoyment of watching motorsports is the race itself, then what does it matter if you know who won?
must be getting grumpy in old age.

I love the unpredictable move, the 'never saw that coming' type of thing
I have always been grumpy, don't be trying to play the age card Silly

for this race I'd agree.
Not to mention seeing JB pass the filed, that is a huge surprise in itself
Well he is the best in the rain among the current field. Besides Schumacher I cant seem to recall anyone (within the current group) that has come from behind to win. Button also did it in Hungary 2006. Remember that one

Between not recording the last hour of the race, and now knowing the outcome, I won't waste my time watching any of it.
Don't tell me how MotoGP went! Haven't watched it yet!

"It's a better car, I'm just not sure it's a better Honda Civic Si."
Also, 12 years and the best they can do is shave a second or so off the 0-60 and quarter mile times? I know that was never the strong selling points of the Si, but c'mon!

Wow, the last line from that video was very telling:

Honda does not want to excel, they just want to get by with good enough
For me this is what got to me
Long piston strokes are great for producing friendly torque curves and cruising around doing daily chores. But it's the giddy thrills of short-stroke engines that have long been the essence of the Civic Si's personality.
