74 Econoline. Rot. Oil leak, reverse gone, rear main seals, piston slap. - went to the crusher 81
74 mustang II. Cam lobes wore off. Went to crusher in 81.
86 Mustang Gt. Better car. Body and subframe cracks. Sold.
96 Windstar. Electrical problems. Compression failure, transmission failure, AC failure. Sold. It died on new owner on their way home.
I tried to like them...
Be glad the list does not include two of the all time worst 80-90s vehicles -- Taurus and Explorer (better known in dealerships as the Exploder due to serious engine and tranny leaks).

At one point the Taurus had 3 separate serious recalls on it - not the stupid stuff you see now, like a loose wire but things like the steering wheel could loosen and come off and brake issues. I loved doing warranty claims at the Ford dealer - job security

American's dont buy hatches remember
Tom says my wagon is actually a hatch - but I disagree
No way do I consider the Fit a wagon, sorry...

Please someone stage an intervention for her. If she cant find a buyer for the bling wheels, she wants to powdercoat them Suzuka and put them on the car. Me thinks that will make it blingier in a hello kitty way

Cheap knockoff based on the TSX Sportwagon
Ok, I laughed, buy, you still suck

Just being FanBoy for the day...

Who really knows what I will buy when I need a car next. No saying when that moment may come either.

I had a Buick Century rental car many years ago - it was seriously fun. Huge and V6 power - like VTEC compared to my used Accords and 99 Civic that I drove at the time. Had a very cool center console as well. It was like driving around while sitting in a recliner though. No road feel or fun except straight line power/speed.

Ford of America has made it clear, the Ranger means nothing to them
They like the piece of chit they have here and they intend to spend zero dollars on it
This is highlighted by the fact that the Ranger has been totally redesigned, but is not for sale in the states
Totally wacky from my point of view, but none the less, that's the way they see it
I just know so many people in Frontiers and Tacomas I can't believe Ford does not want a bigger piece of this pie

It is simple. Ford likes to brag how the F-150 is the best-selling vehicle in the world. Updating the Ranger would cannibalize sales of the F-150 and put that claim in jeopardy.

The Tacoma and Frontier are mid-size trucks though. The Ranger was a compact and I liked that aspect about it. Maybe no one wants to buy a little pick up truck anymore

Both my Rangers were in multiple times for warranty work. The Toyota and Hondas never saw a dealership after purchase.
