Glenn gave me a copy of Sports Car Market magazine, maybe a couple of months old. S2000 is a "buy it now" future classic. The median price, however, is rather low.

So, my daughter Susan pries the keys to the S2000 from my clenched fist, removes the car from the premises over my objection and kind of says that I might get the car back in three weeks. But I think that's just a maybe, since possession is nine tenths of the law.

So, I'm feeling pretty bummed. August - no top down coming to work, no sneaking off for a ride around the lake, no track days.

Our good CO - not to worry. He sends Susan a video about how to do burn outs in the S2000 and urges her to try it.

Don't we have a wash and wax forum here somewhere? Why couldn't he send her the link to that?

And the video I sent her wasn't just some random kid doing a burnout. It was Jason Fenske from EE

Rant:
New interface sucks! Especially on mobile. Doesn't remember where I was in threads, is slow to load and the previously mentioned scrolling issue.
Tonight I left the window open while we ate and all the sudden 15 minutes later out of nowhere an advertisement with sound and video just began to play on its own. I hate that!
I'm all for capitalism but as the user/target audience this sucks!
Rant over

Paul - I'll also send you an email in case the upgrade has put you off to the point you don't check back here.

1. Mobile Interface - I always browse the site in full web mode on the mobile. I do not like the mobile interface either. If the site opens in mobile mode, scroll down to the bottom of the page and tap the button for view full site.
2. Ads - Not sure what browser you are using. But have Anne install Google Chrome and the Ad Block Plus plugin. That will reduce the number of ads you see and should eliminate the irritating ones that automatically start playing.
3. If you still have Infinite Scroll (or Indefinite Scroll as I like to call it). Here is how you can turn it off. When you load the forum, scroll down all the way to the bottom of the page. You will see a grey rectangular groupbox that contains the site CONTACT US, ADVERITISING etc. All the way on the left will be a dropdown and it will probably be set to Classic Next Gen 2.0. Expand the dropdown and select Classic Next Gen. That will take care of the infinite scroll and render the page similar to the way it was prior to the upgrade.

Hope this helps.
