Guys and Gals, I've tried. There is something very wrong with this site for me. All others are fine.
It took me over a half hour to read a dozen posts here, and there is no way I could ever consider just try another thread.
Videos in different languages pop up and scream at me. Typing stops. Annoying as all Hell.
A2 text me if something comes up. This site is just too broken.

I am now on Chrome, with adblocker plus plugin.
It's much better, but the cooling fan in my laptop is still screaming and putting out some serious BTU's. Weird. Only this site.
At least it's now navigable, but idiosyncratic...

Glad that worked for you. Chrome with Ad Block Plus has been a godsend. It's made browsing much easier and reduced ads all across the sites I visit.

Laptops still tend to get warm. You could use a cooling pad for the laptop. It will make it run cooler and have fewer shutdowns due to overheating

Nice to see you post Jeff, I hope you figure out your issues. Knock on wood but the this site works OK for me....I use Chrome too with Adblock.

A2 walked me through it. I remember when I was "good" at this Sh1t. Now my grandkids will show me how to program the remote so I can turn off the tv...
