And not cheap like its name-bearing predecessor either. The pricing tool for the Ranger went up about a month or two ago on the Ford website. The most basic 4x4 version started at $30k.

Why are tucks so darned expensive? I don't want blind spot monitoring, massaging seats, and an entertainment system that reads my texts to me, walks the dog, and does the dishes. Okay, maybe the last two.

Still, to get a Tacoma with a proper 3-pedal configuration will cost you over $35k. That would get you a fully loaded Camry!

^ you’re right Marc. It’s the cost of those options that is driving up the average new vehicle price

My hooks are loose and my wipers are off - thanks for the tips!
Jake did a great job on my roof this summer, but hopefully it'll be a little while before we do it again.

Boy, we're crawling towards 2000 posts on this thread. I wonder if we will hit it by the end of the year.

This thread is 26 months old. I remember when it only took a 2 or 3 months to hit 2000 posts and close out the thread. Sad that everybody's moved on and no one else has "moved in". But that's life.

I think people are still around, just not as involved. Some of them have probably moved on from the car. And the younger crowd has modern social media to keep them occupied and forums are primitive compared to the instant thrill of likes and comments.
