I'm getting concerned that I've had my last romp with the S2000 until spring.

We seem to be missing the warm spell I've come to expect this time of year.

Last week was 70-80 degrees. We skipped the 60s and bottomed out to the 40-50 degree weather. Disappointing as I had some outdoor house work I wanted to do, but didn't want to roast while doing it. Now I'm gonna freeze.

Hoping for a few warm days between now and the end of the month. I’ll have to change oil, prep and store the car.

Yesterday, in anticipation of the cold, I drained the coolant out of the MGA's engine block and radiator and pumped up all of the tires to 50 psi. Wiped the car down and put it away. I didn't change the oil as the engine probably has only about 230 miles on it and I plan to pull the engine anyway. So it seemed like a waste of oil to do a change.

I had used something called No Rosion as a rust inhibitor and it worked great. It came out of the block pristine and the block drain - which is always clogged with rust and crud - was open and flowed. I need to give that company a testimonial!

Honda and Volvo still in the garage. Whether I drive either this fall is open to debate.

But if I was with Paul in Florida, it would still be open to debate. Too hot! My bald spot might take a burn.

I drove the S into work this morning - it was cold, but they said 60 and sunny this evening, that's all I need to hear.
I had the roof down, windows up, heat blasting, driving gloves, and a winter hat on.
Totally worth it!

60 degrees tomorrow. I’ll do an oil change. Have to check if I have a filter
